Our Chimney Sweeping Process

1.) The homeowner must be home for the appointment because the chimney sweep does have to clean and inspect the chimney from both the roof and inside the home.

2.) We lay two layers of clean drop cloths in front of the fireplace.

3.) Then a large industrial dust collector, made for the chimney industry, (draws 400 cubic feet of dust per minute) is brought in.

4.) We remove the damper assembly.

5.) With a properly fitted professional chimney sweep brush, we brush the chimney from either the top or the bottom (dependant on the situation).

6.) We brush out the smoke chamber and the smoke shelf.

7.) The damper assembly is cleaned and reinstalled and the firebox is brushed out.

During this time the large dust collector is running to control dust.

Finally, the Certified Chimney Sweep does a roof top “Level I” inspection (safety permitting) checking the entire structure to ensure fireplace safety and your peace of mind. This "Level I" inspection will uncover most problems your chimney may have.

With our service, clean-up is 100% guaranteed.
